A WHITE BOX (I'VE LOST MY MIND)

this began as a concept in early 2022. I don't typically shoot in-studio or exercise extensive lighting techniques. however, in pursuing this project I wanted to challenge any creative approaches I normally employ in my process. 

 

for almost a year after capturing, I hopelessly tried to produce something worthy.

eventually, I found these images becoming a capsule for my imagination and self-imposed entrapment. a way to express my everlasting pursuit and battle with notions of invention and creativity.
